JUSTINE TRETHEWEY Manipulative Physiotherapist

Justine Trethewey completed her physiotherapy studies at La Trobe University in Melbourne in 1988. She enjoyed returning to complete a Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy – in particular revisiting the study of anatomy.

Justine worked as a physio at Whistler Mountain in Canada, then St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne before working in private practice in Sydney.

Justine has a particular interest in core stability and posture. This was reflected and compounded in her work conducting classes at Physiocise before joining Macquarie Street Physiotherapy.

From May 2025 Justine will no longer be practicing back and neck manipulation. However she will continue treating other "peripheral" areas such as knees, hips, shoulders etc.

Justine also runs 1:1 and group core stability and strength classes at Macquarie Street Physiotherapy.

Justine enjoys staying active by going to the gym and playing squash.
